I was sent some vouchers so that I could purchase some of the products to review but there was so much to choose from that I had a real hard time deciding what to go for, so I have decided to share all of my favourites from the range!
With my vouchers I purchased this Gourmet Pouring Oil Trio. It is priced at £8.00 and you get a 70ml bottle of Chilli Infused Oil, an 80ml bottle of Balsamic Vinegar and a 70ml bottle of Fragrantly Herbed Oil. All of them look and smell amazing and I can't wait to try them in my cooking, or create dressings from them. Having said that, they also look fantastic in the rack sitting on the kitchen side so I am half tempted to buy another set just to look pretty!
The other gift that I got using the vouchers was this Beauticology Candy Shop set by Baylis & Harding. Now I know that this is not food but all of the products come in some really delicious flavours that I think would really appeal to the food loving lady in your life. The set costs £15 from Tesco.com.
I loved the packaging of this gift set and the way that all the little bottles are lined up like a sweetie shop. In the box you get 2 bottles of Cherry Candy Cane body wash (100ml), 2 bottles of Strawberry Swirl Shower Creme (100ml), 2 Pink Peppermint body lotions and 2 Candy Swirl body scrubs (both 50ml).
The Cherry Candy Cane shower gel smells just like Cherry Drops and the Strawberry Swirl shower creme smells equally yummy and looks so pretty as it is all shimmery in the bottle. The Pink Peppermint body lotion is a lovely texture and the peppermint fragrance is sweet and long lasting. Candy Swirl Body scrub is probably my favorite of the products, it smells just like the sweets!
Some of the Christmas Gift range is Buy One Get One Free so for my freebie I went with this Beauticology Candy Cane Body Butter Set (usually £7 from tesco.com). The packaging was equally beautiful and the box contains 3 pots of body butter in Pink Peppermint, Cherry Candy Cane and Strawberry Swirl.
I liked the texture of the body butter as it was not too thick and they all smelt lovely and sweet and left a long lasting sweet scent on my skin. I am going to be smelling awesome this Christmas!
Staying with the sweet smelling beauty products theme, these shower gels from Treacle Moon also caught my eye. I am already a huge fan of Treacle Moon Coconut Island shower gel and Toffee Bon Bon and Marsh Mallow Hearts sounds too delicious to miss! These 500ml bottles are a bargain at £2.99 each from www.tesco.com.
Next up are a couple of products that really appealed to the baker in me...or should I say wannabe baker because to be honest I am not very good but this Cupcake Maker could be just the thing I need! You can make 7 cup cakes in this non-stick maker which is available from www.tesco.com for £15.00.
And to present those lovely cupcakes how about this Sweetie Shop Mini Cake Stand? This is available from www.tesco.com for £8.00 and there are also some other really cute accessories in the Sweetie Shop range such as measuring spoons, cupcake cakes cases and a lovely spotty teapot.
As well as those Pouring Oils that I mentioned earlier there are lots of other gifts that I think would appeal to the budding chef. This Gourmet Spice Tower comes in 3 different varieties, pictured is the Hot and Spicy version but there are also Mediterranean and Chef Special options. You get 6 different spices and 3 metal measuring spoons. Each priced at £10 from tesco.com.
I also liked the look of the Gourmet Wok Set (£20 from tesco.com) which includes a 2 handled Wok, 2 sets of chop sticks, 240g of noodles, some chilli flakes and Chinese five spice.
Finally we have this Pasta Gift which is perfect for any fan of Italian food. Available from tesco.com for £18.00.
