REVIEW! Fox's Caramel Caffè Waffles
Posted on the 05 November 2013 by Thereviewaddict @TheReviewAddictAfter trying Fox's Caffè Thins and Caffè Snaps the other day, Fox's very kindly sent me these Caramel Caffè Waffles to review. This is another product from their range of biscuits which are designed to be enjoyed with a cup of coffee.
These Dutch caramel waffles (or Stroopwafels as they are known in the Netherlands) are made from 2 thin layers of sweet waffle, with a syrupy caramel layer in the middle. You get 8 in the pack with each one containing 133 calories.
The best way to eat one of these waffles is to place it over the top of a hot cup of coffee. This will heat it up slightly and make the inside all lovely and warm and soft.
The waffle was just the right size to sit on the top of my mug and it had a lovely chewy texture. It was deliciously sweet with a hint of cinnamon and vanilla and I enjoyed every bite!
Verdict
Fox's Caramel Caffè Waffles are just perfect with a cup of coffee and such comfort food on a cold evening like tonight. Stroopwafels have become one of my favourite snacks in recent times and it's great to see a big brand like Fox's producing them!
