REVIEW! Galaxy Honeycomb Crisp

Posted on the 07 September 2013 by Thereviewaddict @TheReviewAddict
I am off on holiday tomorrow so I will be taking a bit of a break from blogging for a couple of weeks. I will be back soon however, hopefully with lots of interesting things to review. For now though, I will leave you with this review of one of the new Galaxy bars.
Galaxy Honeycomb Crisp
Mr Review Addict finally managed to track down this Honeycomb Crisp in our local Martin's newsagents. It has been released along with Nut Crunch which I have yet to find.
There is a bigger version of this bar available but this 40g bar contains 219 calories and comes with 6 sections. The top side of the bar is smooth but when you flip it over you can see lots of honeycomb pieces embedded in the chocolate.

We don't get too many exciting releases from Galaxy (I think the most interesting has been the Orange and Shortcake bar which I reviewed back in January), so it's nice to see something new, although I can't say that honeycomb is as exciting as some of the more recent Cadbury bars.
You may have noticed that the Galaxy packaging has had a bit of a makeover too and I do think that it's a bit more eye catching than the previous version and the chocolate itself looks a bit more rounded than the older bars too. I have also noticed that most of the older Galaxy bars are 45g plus so you do get a bit less chocolate with this one. I don't know how much Mr Review Addict paid but you can gaurantee it won't be less than the 45g bars. I will be interested to see if the older ones now shrink to match Honeycomb crunch.
Galaxy Honeycomb Crisp
Galaxy chocolate is always very nice and the honeycomb is a nice addition. It is a very sweet bar and I could see that some people may find it too sweet and even with my extremely sweet tooth I don't think that I could eat an entire bar in one go.
Verdict Honeycomb crisp is a nice bar and I did enjoy it. I can't get massively excited about it because it's not very original, that said I would probably by it again.  REVIEW!
