Glorious Toulouse Sausage and Bean Meal Soup
Yesterday I reviewed Glorious Smokin' Cheese and Jalapeno Sauce and I was lucky enough to also be sent some of the Glorious soup range to try.
Toulouse Sausage and Bean is a French inspired soup from the Meal Soups range. It contains sautéed sausage meat, cannellini and haricot beans, fennel, thyme and parsley. Half of the 600g pot contains 192 calories and 1 of your 5 a day. It is stocked in Sainsbury's and is priced at around £2.20.

I can see why this is called a Meal Soup, it was very chunky and really filling. It had quite a strong herby tomato flavor to it and I loved the little pieces of sausage meat.
Glorious New England Butternut Squash Skinny Soup
Glorious New England Butternut Squash Skinny Soup also comes in a 600g pot with half containing 103 calories, 1 of your 5 a day and less than 2% fat.

The butternut squash has been roasted with spices and finished with mango chutney which sounded like quite an odd combination but it was really quite delicious. The soup has a slight kick to it and a hint of curry flavor which was then followed by a sweetness from the mango. It is very smooth in texture and still filling despite being a skinny soup.
Glorious Goan Tomato and Lentil Skinny Soup
Goan Tomato and Lentil is another Skinny Soup. Half of 600g pot contains 150 calories, 1 of your 5 a day and just 1.3% fat. The tomato and lentils are flavoured with cumin, chilli and paprika so it has a bit of heat to it but it also contains low fat yogurt so not too much of a kick.

This was probably my favorite of the 3 soups because the flavours were so strong. It was thick in texture, more so than the Butternut squash soup and I loved the Indian inspired flavours.
Both skinny soups are stocked in Sainsbury's, Morrison's, Ocado and some of the smaller retailers. The New England Butternut Squash soup can also be found in Asda.
VerdictIt is the perfect time of year for a comforting bowl of soup and Glorious have some fantastic adventurous flavours on offer. The pots will keep in the fridge for a couple of days once opened so you don't need to eat it all in one go and you can also freeze these soups. I look forward to trying more of the range.REVIEW!
