REVIEW! Hershey's 5th Avenue
I purchased this Hershey's 5th Avenue from Cyber Candy in Covent Garden.   I am sure most of my readers will know Hershey's but in case you don't; Hershey's is an American Chocolate Manufacturer. The 5th Avenue has been around since 1936 as is described as "peanut butter in a rich chocolate coating".  It weighs 56g and contains 260 calories.
REVIEW! Hershey's 5th Avenue
I love peanut butter so this bar really appealed to me.  From the description I wasn't really sure what to expect.  I was assuming that it would be something similar to a Cadbury Starbar (AKA Peanut Boost) but without the caramel and with crunchy peanut butter instead of smooth.  When I cut into it, it actually did look quite similar to a Starbar.
REVIEW! Hershey's 5th Avenue
I am glad that I didn't Google the 5th Avenue before eating it as the texture was surprise.  It was both smooth and crunchy at the same time!  The inside was a combination of smooth peanut butter and a harder, crispier peanut brittle-like thing.  It was very strange with the contrasting textures but in a good way.  Apparently the 5th Avenue is quite similar to the Nestle Butterfinger but sadly I have never tried one so I would be interested to hear if this is indeed the case.
VerdictStarbar is still my number one peanut butter bar because of the caramel and Cadbury's chocolate is so much nicer than Hershey's; however but the texture of the 5th Avenue made for a very interesting chocolate bar.REVIEW! Hershey's 5th Avenue
