Kettle Chips - Sour Cream & Sweet Onion
I was actually looking for the new Lime and Black Pepper Kettle Chips but sadly couldn't find them, but I did pick up these Sour Cream and Sweet Onion flavor ones which I've not tried before.
Sour Cream and Onion is a fairly standard flavor these days but Kettle Chips have, as usual done have tried to do things their own way with the onion being sweet. The 150g bag was £2.19 in Tesco but there is currently an offer on for 2 for £4. They contain 507 calories per 100g.

The onion aroma was fairly strong with sweet undertones but taste-wise they were quite subtle which was a little disappointing. Usually Kettle Chips are quite strong in flavor but this was not the case here. I thought at first that perhaps the sour cream had toned things down too much but then I remembered the Sweet Chilli and Sour Cream flavor that I tried recently and they were lovely so I'm not sure what is going on here.
Verdict
The crisps still had the lovely crunchy texture that comes as standard with Kettle Chips but these are definitely not my favorite flavor. They weren't horrible or anything but just a bit boring!
