REVIEW! Lush Snow Fairy

Lush Snow Fairy
Snow Fairy is a limited edition shower gel from Lush. It is only sold in Winter and apparently it is their Christmas bestseller. I must confess that I treat myself to at least one big bottle every year so you can probably tell that this shower gel is going to get a good rating, however I still thought that it was worth sharing for anyone who has never tried it.
For anyone who is not familiar with Lush products, they are based in Poole in the UK and are famous for their handmade cosmetics and strong values. They only buy ingredients from companies that do not commission tests on animals and they only use vegetarian ingredients. They make all their products fresh, by hand and if there is a Lush shop nearby then rest assured you will smell it before you see it!
Snow Fairy is a bright pink (and I really do mean bright pink), glittery shower gel and will set you back £10.95 for a 500g bottle. There is also a 250g bottle priced at £6.25 and a 100g bottle which is £3.50. Pink and glitter is always going to appeal to my girly nature but the best thing about this shower gel is the smell. It is described on the bottle as "candy floss and pear drops" and that is exactly what it smells like! It is ridiculously sweet smelling and any regular readers of my blog will know that I love all things sweet!
The shower gel is quite creamy and lathers up really well. Also a lot goes a long way as it's quite concentrated so you don't need a lot and the gorgeous sweet smell stays on your skin for a few hours after use. If you are not a fan of glitter, don't worry, it's not the sort that sticks to your skin so you won't be walking around looking like some sort of Christmas decoration. However if that is your thing then Lush does make products that can achieve this effect!
Verdict
I've not tried many Lush products but Snow Fairy is one that I always go back to. If you like sweet things then give it a go, but hurry up as Christmas is nearly here and it will soon be gone again until next year!
REVIEW! Lush Snow Fairy
Lush also used to make a dusting powder that smelt of Snow Fairy but I can't remember what it was called, if anyone can remember please let me know as I would love to buy some if they still make it?
