This new Maltesers Teasers bar was very kindly sent to me from Katherine at Grocery Gems. I was really looking forward to trying this as I love Maltesers...I pretty much love all things chocolate so I am sure that comes as no surprise.
The bar weighs 35g and contains 186 calories so I suppose that it could be considered "lighter" than a lot of other chocolate bars. This is also around the same amount of calories as a regular bag of Maltesers.
It's an interesting looking bar; it comes in 10 rounded sections which kind of look like 10 Maltesers have been stuck in a bar of chocolate. That is not the case however as the honeycomb comes in lots of little pieces rather than big chunks and these are scattered throughout.
The chocolate is the standard stuff that you get with Maltesers which I enjoyed and I liked that the smaller pieces of honeycomb were less crunchy and melted in the mouth easier.
Verdict If I was craving some chocolate at work and this was sat in the vending machine, I would definitely make it an option and I would probably choose it over a bag of Maltesers because I preferred the texture and I like that there is a higher ratio of chocolate compared to honeycomb.
