Regular readers will know that I am a huge fan of Mango Mystique and their delicious Mango chocolates. Check out my review of their Medium Variety Selection Box and Malibu and Mango Chocolates and Valentines Day Collection.
Yesterday I was lucky enough to receive a sample of their Spring Special Offer box which is currently for sale on their website for £6. These chocolates did not come a tin like the previous boxes that I have reviewed but in true Mango Mystique style they were still beautifully packaged. The box is made from cardboard and and has a really stunning label as you can see from my first photo. I just love the design, it is so bright and colourful and looks fantastic against the simple brown and orange box.
The box contains 8 milk chocolate which are filled with mango butter and a hint of Malibu coconut liquor and then dusted with coconut milk. These are very similar to the Malibu and Mango Chocolates that I have reviewed previously but those were more dome shaped and these are balls.
The chocolate is the usual fantastic quality milk chocolate from Mango Mystique. I would say that it is not as thick as in the other chocolates that I have reviewed for them but what this does mean is that you get more of that gorgeous mango and Malibu filling and that is just fine with me!
Verdict
Another fantastic offering from Mango Mystique. The cardboard packaging instead of a tin means that you get a bit more for money with this Spring Special Edition box, so if you have been debating whether or not to give these chocolates a try then this is the perfect excuse! There are lots of other Mango delights available on the Mango Mystique Website and of course you can still purchase chocolates in those gorgeous tins that I mentioned in my other reviews.
