Marks and Spencer Guilt Free Snacking Crispy Fudge Bars
This is my second review from the Marks and Spencer Guilt Free Snacking range.  I reviewed the Chocolate Cornflake Clusters the other day, which I really enjoyed and today I am reviewing Crispy Fudge Bars.
This pack of 5 cost me £1.86 (random price!) and each bar is 135 calories; this is 7 Syns for anyone doing Slimming World.
The packet describes the bars as "Delicious Madagascan vanilla fudge bars, sprinkled with crispies, coated in creamy milk chocolate".  As a big lover of fudge, especially vanilla fudge, these really appealed.  M&S used to do a bar of fudge coated in chocolate and it was amazing.  I haven't seen them in a while though so I am not sure if they are still available but I hoped that these Crispy Fudge Bars would be a good substitute.
The bars are a fairly decent size, approximately 10cm in length.  The chocolate on the outside is thicker than I was expecting and the "crispies" which are little bits of puffed rice, are embedded within this creating a knobbly effect.

The chocolate is the good quality that I would expect from Marks and Spencer and I enjoyed the crispy texture from the puffed rice.  The fudge is the best part though, it is so rich and creamy and the vanilla taste is quite strong; it's delicious!
Verdict
These Crispy Fudge Bars are way too nice to only be 135 calories!  The Crispy Cornflake Clusters that I reviewed the other day were really good but I did feel a little disappointed with the portion size.  The Fudge Bars however are very sweet and so nice that I felt the portion was just right.
