Nifeislife.com is an Italian Food Delivery website and they recently offered me the chance to try out their service in return for an honest review. Nife stands for Nice Italian Food Everyday and this is the idea behind Nifeislife.com; they want to make quality Italian food available across the UK at affordable prices.
They offer a huge range of products including fresh fruit and vegetables, fresh buffalo mozzarella which is flown in twice a week, parma ham, cooking sauces, bakery goods and pastas just to name a few items. I was able to select a range of products to try and it was a very easy process, just like ordering online from any supermarket and I really was amazed at the number of items that they had.
I selected several pastas (fresh and dried), 3 different sauces, some biscuits and snacks, some drinks, a bag of courgettes and a fresh Italian fruit box. All of this which you can see in my top photo, came to just over £40 which I thought was very reasonable indeed.
The parcel arrived via a courier and was very well packaged. The glass jars were wrapped in plenty of bubble-wrap and the fresh pasta came with an ice pack to keep it cool.
I won't go into detail of every single product that I ordered because there was so much and some of these products I will review separately but I did want to make a special mention of the Italian fruit box. This was a 3kg box which is priced at £10 and contains the available fruit at the time of ordering. Mine contained some clementines, golden apples, kiwis, some absolutely gorgeous and unbelievably juicy Sicilian oranges and some of of the biggest pears I have ever seen! All of the fruit was great quality and I thought that £10 was a real bargain, there was more than enough to fill my fruit bowl with some left over!
Verdict
The range of products from nifeislife.com was fantastic and as someone who enjoys trying different foods, I loved having the opportunity to experience good quality Italian products that I might never had got the chance to try or even thought of trying.
