I have already reviewed the Phileas Fogg Mexican Style Taco Rolls and thought they were fantastic. These American Style Bubble Chips are from the same range and come in BBQ and this Cheese and New York Deli Relish Flavour.
I paid £2 for 2 190g bags from Sainsbury's and like the Mexican Style Taco Rolls, the recommended serving is 30g. These have slightly more calories at 163 per serving.
Bubble chips are inspired by potato chips from the USA and are apparently cooked twice for a light satisfying crunch.
The crisps were indeed crunchy and they were light. I was expecting something similar to Pop Chips which I also reviewed recently but these crisps are thinner and not as puffy and definitely crispier. They were quite similar to Roysters.
The Cheese and New York Deli Relish Flavour was really strong and tangy and thoroughly enjoyable!
Verdict Another excellent new flavor from Phileas Fogg!
