Phileas Fogg Mexican Style Taco Rolls - Nacho Cheese and Jalapeno
I picked up these new crisps from Phileas Fogg in Sainsbury's the other night and paid £2 for 2 bags. There are quite a few flavours in this range but I decided to go with these Nacho Cheese and Jalapeño Mexican Taco Rolls as they just looked so interesting. Cinabar at Foodstuff Finds has reviewed the Pesto and Roasted Peppers Italian Style Corn Chips from the same range.
These taco rolls are inspired by the classic tortilla corn snacks of Mexico and there is also a Sour Cream and Onion flavor in the same style. This bag weighs 190g and the recommended serving of 30g contains 157 calories.

The tubular shape means that the crisps have a really good crunch to them and I can see why the packet suggests that they would be good for dipping; I think these would go really nicely with some sour cream! They are quite similar to tortilla chips in texture but the flavours of the nacho cheese and jalapeño was strong so they didn't seem as "corny" tasting as normal tortilla chips which can sometimes be a bit bland. I enjoyed the slight heat that came with these crisps, it wasn't too hot, more like a bit of a tingle but that was fine with me as I can't handle too much heat.
Verdict It's refreshing to see so many new and interesting flavours from Phileas Fogg and I really enjoyed the Nacho and Jalapeño flavoured Taco Rolls, they were very moreish! REVIEW!
