This is the 3rd Popchips flavor that I have tried (you can see all of my Popchips reviews here) and I was really exciting about this one because I have heard lots of good things. Katy's Kettle Corn was apparently created with Katy Perry and these are a bit different to the other Popchips as are they are not made from potato, but are made from corn as you have probably gathered from the name.
A 28g serving will set you back 128 calories and that is approximately 22 chips but be warned these things are highly addictive so you may not stop at just 22. I purchased these on offer for £1.50 for a 99g bag from Sainsbury's.
These Popchips look quite similar to the potato versions but have a more bubbly appearance. The texture is very similar to popcorn as you would expect but the round shape makes them appears more like crisps.
It weird because I have read reviews of Katy's Kettle Corn on some USA based blogs and they are triangle shaped like tortilla chips so I am not sure why we have round ones over here but the shape is pretty irrelevant, it's all about the taste for me. The flavor is the perfect combination of sweet and salty popcorn but in crisp form and that is what make it very difficult to only eat a few of them!
Verdict These are my new favorite Popchips! Full marks for Katy's Kettle Corn!
