I know that I am probably boring you with all my recent Ritter Sport reviews, but here you go, have another one! I purchased this Kakao Mousse bar from www.monstersweets.co.uk for £1.55.
This bar is the usual square shape but only it is only 9 sections rather than the 16 that I am used to. It is still a 100g bar so you are still getting the same amount of chocolate, just bigger chunks to allow for the mousse filling.
Ritter Sport describe the mousse filling of this bar as airy and light but I beg to differ. Due to the recent warm weather my bar has been in the fridge so I am not sure if this has had an effect on the filling but it wasn't very mousse like in my opinion and certainly not light and airy. It was really dense, so dense that it was almost chewy but oh my goodness this stuff is good!
It is seriously chocolatey and has very intense cocoa flavor and with that lovely Ritter Sport Alpine milk chocolate, it really was very tasty indeed.
Verdict I am sure I that I say this every time that I try a Ritter Sport bar but this really is my new favorite. I may have to purchase another and not put it in the fridge to see if that mousse is as light as they claim.
