These little Chocolate Fudge Cheesecakes are another new dessert from Tesco and like the Chocolate Popcorn and Salted Caramel Desserts that I reviewed yesterday, they come in a box of 2. The box costs £1.50 and each cheesecake contains 320 calories.
They have a digestive biscuit base which is topped with chocolate cheesecake filling, chocolate sauce and brownie pieces.
I thought that it was a bit strange to find these desserts in little round pots because the other cheesecakes in the range come as slices. The reason for this soon became apparent however, because the cheesecake is a lot fluffier than that in a regular slice. It is more like a creamy chocolate mousse but still with a delicious chocolate cheesecake taste. The chocolate sauce was creamy too and I really enjoyed the little pieces of brownie which were suitably gooey.
Verdict
Although these desserts still contain a fair few calories, they were a lot lighter than the normal cheesecake slices that I buy from Tesco and I really loved this texture. Delicious!
