Tesco Finest Hand-Plaited Brioche Loaf
Brioche is probably one of my favorite foods, it always reminds me of going to see my family in France as a child because that is when I first tried it, along with one of my other favorite things: Nutella!
Anyway, as you know over the last couple of weeks I have been reviewing some of the new Tesco Finest range and I was sent some vouchers so that I was able to try some of the products from the Bakery section. I made a beeline straight from this Hand-Plaited Brioche loaf and something else rather awesome that I will be reviewing later this week...you will have to wait and see for that one, but trust me, when I say it's awesome!

The 400g loaf cost £2.00 and 100g will set you back 390 calories. The all butter brioche is made with Crème fraîche d'Isigny AOC and contains Belgian dark and milk chocolate chunks.

This brioche was beautifully golden on the outside but lovely and fluffy on the inside. The texture was very light and it just sort of melted in the mouth. The flavor was rich and buttery and it was really packed with the chocolate chips which were excellent and I liked that they were both milk and dark chocolate.
Verdict This Brioche was perfection! It was beautiful cold or lightly toasted and if you want to be a complete animal like I am then I highly recommend spreading a layer of Nutella on a slice...delicious! REVIEW!
