I purchased (and ate) these T.G.I. Fridays Potato Skin Snack Crisps whilst I was in Orlando but have only just got round to posting my review. I've been meaning to try these crisps for a while and I have seen them in the UK but I've just never got round buying any until I had some serious holiday munchies one afternoon.
These oval shaped potato chips are part of a larger range of crisps from T.G.I. Fridays but seeing as I love their actual cheese and bacon potato skins I was keen to see what the crisp version would taste like. A 28.4g packet contains 150 calories.
You get a fair few chips in the packet and it was surprising how perfect the oval shapes were, although they were of various sizes.
They have a nice baked flavor to them and were quite cheesy. The bacon flavor was not as apparent as I hoped but then in the proper dish at T.G.I.s you do only get a few little chunks of bacon so I suppose they were quite accurate from that respect. The texture was good and they had a really good crunch to them, I also liked that they were not at all greasy.
Verdict
I enjoyed T.G.I. Fridays Potato Skin Snack Crisps but I wouldn't rush to hunt them down again. They were nice but not a patch on the real thing!
