I have a very hard time sharing my favorite places, must-see spaces and foodie haven's because of the Yelp phenomenon.
Don't know what it is?
Well imagine a college-age, fresh-eyed and bushy-tailed LA transplant reviewing Mexican food and it's authenticity.
Or how about this: An Eastsider (as in never drives West of La Brea) bashing a the latest Westside foodie haven - without actually eating there.
So, call me selfish, but I rarely, if ever give recommendations to any of my favorite places in the fear that they will attract the wrong crowd.
But, being that many of my dear friends are making the trek to LA more often than usual, it has come to my attention that it is my duty, as a responsible born and bred Angelino, to steer them in the right direction.
With that in mind, I am starting with San Fernando Valley and Gateway to the Westside favorite places, spaces and foodie kitchens.
