Princess Maya has been sleeping in our bed since her first night in our home.
Try as we may, every single (doggy)( bed we have purchased for her as been destroyed in a spoiled doggy fit (when she was left home alone), or she refuses to look at, let alone sleep in it.
We have pretty much given in to her and look forward to cuddling in bed every night.
But during the day she doesn't have that luxury.
Although I have a day-bed in my home office that doubles as a couch, I don't like her laying on it.
But she does.
I kick her out of the (day) bed, she jumps back on. I move the pillows, she moves them back. I turn my chair around while I am on a conference call to wave my finger "no," but she still jumps on.
She lays between the pillows and makes my office "couch" her bed during working hours.
I just can't win!
So I did the best thing I could do: Buy her a doggy blanket that would keep her warm and off the comforter.
Good news! She didn't destroy the blanket like she did the beds. Maybe because it's on my day-bed?
Le sigh.
