Yesterday I took my last final of the spring semester. This is my second semester of my career pivot (I don't count the first semester as it was just a "test" on whether or not I would continue on the "returning college student" path).
My (original) goal was to get out of the school I am in as quickly as possible...but things happen. The most important one, figuring out that what has been obvious to others: I am truly focused on and nothing makes me happier than visual storytelling.
Through a series of unfortunate events and connecting with my Artists Way tribe, I rediscovered my life passion; and that it's time to let go of WHAT I thought I was to become WHO I am.
So while everyone is planning a summer break to escape their life, their work, their families, I'm focused on finding projects that will help me get closer to my goals.
This summer looks completely different to me than it did a year ago...and I am ok with that...I'm actually excited about that.
And THAT my friends, is a HUGE step in the right direction.
