I found this yesterday on a post K-Rock of New York posted on their Facebook wall. I think the post's title was "Is there anything this man can't do?". Within the post, which actually had more to do with Chris Cornell sticking up for a gay man in an argument at an airport, was this video of the Soundgarden and Audioslave frontman, in a quiet moment on stage while promoting his latest solo effort called Songbook, picking up his guitar in front of his rock/grunge loving audience and playing a really heartfelt acoustic version of "I Will Always Love You" a week or so after Whitney Houston's death. No one prompted him to do it, and he didn't even tell the audience what he was about to play. It's that moment when you hear the audience exhale and recognize the melody and applaud that you know you're watching something pretty cool. That's the way to pay tribute.
