Posted on the 01 January 2014 by Thereviewaddict @TheReviewAddict
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
The time has come for me to do a round up of the best products that I have reviewed throughout 2013, if you want to see last years list click here. It's been a tough decision to make considering that I have written 322 reviews this year!
Before I present my list, I wanted to take the opportunity to say a big thank you to all of my readers and all of the companies that have kindly sent me products to review. I also wanted to say thank you to all of the other bloggers who support The Review Addict with retweets and mentions and for also writing awesome blogs that I love reading! Check out my blog roll in the side bar for my favorite blogs.
So here is my list, click on the product name to read the full review.

THE BEST OF 2013Border Biscuits Pecan and Maple Syrup Granola CookiesThe lovely people at Border Biscuits sent me A LOT of biscuits to review back in February. These were my favourite!

Best Cake

THE BEST OF 2013Tesco Finest Red Velvet CakeI loved everything about this cake which is part of the new Tesco Finest range. It looked and tasted amazing!

Best Chocolate

THE BEST OF 2013Ritter Sport Kakao MousseWell 2013 saw lots of new chocolate bars released, including some fabulous new bars from Cadbury. This was probably the toughest category to pick from but I had to go for this bar from Ritter Sport which I got from monstersweets.co.uk

Best Crisps

THE BEST OF 2013Popchips Katys Kettle CornI've reviewed quite a few crisps this year but I keep going back to Popchips and in particular Katy's Kettle Corn because I love the mix of sweet and savoury. Now if I can just persuade them to release the Salted Caramel flavor that they have in the USA.

Best Dessert

THE BEST OF 2013 Gu After Dark Gu-Zillionaires' PudsA relatively new dessert from Gu and another product that I keep going back to!

Best Ice Cream

THE BEST OF 2013 Taywell Ice Creams Honeycomb Ice CreamBack in April I was lucky enough to be sent a week's worth of ice cream from Kent based Ice Cream makers Taywell and it was a no brainer than one of their products would win this category. I gave 5 out of the 6 products that I tried 5 stars but Honeycomb was my favorite.

Best Ready/Prepared Meal

THE BEST OF 2013Tesco Finest Goats' Cheese and Caramelised Red Onion FlatbreadAnother product from the new Tesco Finest range. This flat bread looked and tasted absolutely gorgeous and I actually have another one sat in my fridge.

Best Snack

THE BEST OF 2013Whiteys Original Gourmet PopcornI reviewed 4 flavours of popcorn from Whiteys and loved all 4. You really have to try this stuff to understand how good it is and you can check out Whitey's website here.

Best Sauce Or Condiment

THE BEST OF 2013Tesco Finest Red Onion, Whisky and Chilli ChutneyYet another fantastic product from the new Tesco Finest range. I think I may be addicted to this chutney.

Best Subscription Box

THE BEST OF 2013Our Honest FoodsSubscription boxes were a new category for The Review Addict this year and this one from Our Honest Foods was definitely my favorite. I loved their mix of British snacks and can't wait to see what they offer going forward.

Best Fast Food

THE BEST OF 2013Five Guys' Little CheeseburgerIt was love at first bite when I finally got around to trying a Five Guys burger when I went to Orlando in September. Imagine my excitement when Five Guys opened in Reading which is not too far from Bracknell. My favorite burger ever!

Best Soft Drink

THE BEST OF 2013Coke Zero CherryI love this stuff but I really wish more supermarkets would stock it as I can only find it in Asda!

Best Alcoholic Drink

THE BEST OF 2013Pistonhead LagerI only reviewed this lager at the start of December but it's one that myself and Mr Review Addict have been enjoying since.
