VITTLE HUNT: BACKSTORY KITCHEN & CAFE
I've not published any food posts for quite a while now and I'm about to bring it back. From now on I'll be naming my foodventure series "Vittle Hunt", to be more catchy and unique. I tried "Cafe Hunt" but it's already too common and I'm not even focusing on cafes alone so there's that.
For this post, I'll be featuring Cebu's Backstory Kitchen & Cafe. I've been eyeing this cafe since it opened just this year. Its interiors are the ones that I found beautiful because it's white and I love white! They have a really clean and cozy place that's perfect for an afternoon hangout.

Ram and I ate our lunch there and decided to order their signature burger, a sandwich, and a red velvet frappe. We were already expecting what their burger would look like since we've already seen it throughout social media but man, their sandwich, though. We really thought that it would be just a typical sandwich that we're commonly used to, with all the typical sliced bread and dressing, but no, it's different. And it's big. It's worth the price!

As you can see, the bread used in this sandwich is not ordinary. It has a crispy texture but still has that bread material. The dressing was pretty good, it has lettuce (oh I love lettuce) and ham, french fries and ketchup on the side.

Here's their signature burger which has three condiments inside shot glasses and fresh fries on the side. I really like their presentation, not only that it is uncommon, it's also complete and organized. I definitely recommend to you their signature burger and sandwich.
Each meal only cost us not more than Php200. It's really inexpensive and definitely worth your money.

Nothing really special with their red velvet frappe but still, it's delicious!

I definitely needed to take a picture of myself in the place because I can! And especially that they have this very nice wall of plants, so I just needed to.
I only used my phone camera in taking the pictures though because I intentionally didn't bring it because it's heavy. I'm still satisfied with the photos, nonetheless!

Backstory Kitchen and Cafe is located at Don Mariano Cui St., Capitol Site, Cebu City, just across Yakski Barbeque. If you're familiar with the NBI office in Capitol Site, then you'd definitely find this cafe.
For more info, you can always check their Facebook account.
I hope you had a great time reading this mouth watering post. Til next vittle hunt!
