Got invited at Red Lizard Taqueria last Friday for a food tasting together with some blogger friends. We met Nina from The Abaca Group whom we got to talk about the place, it's history, and of course the food itself. Red Lizard Taqueria is one of The Abaca Group restaurants and it’s so far its newest. But it’s not the typical Abaca Group restaurant because Red Lizard focuses on the opposite of fine dining and expensive meals. Unlike their Maya’s classic fine dining cuisine, Red Lizard’s nothing fancy but simply casual and laid-back. The real deal is that they don’t serve “fast food” because they cook them fresh…but fast! So you’d get to be served unfrozen, well prepared, and freshly cooked Mexican food with less waiting time. In Red Lizard, you’ll get to experience your favorite Mexican comfort food at very affordable prices as they want to ensure that their customers get their money’s worth but still able to enjoy quality food.
As we entered the Mexican themed restaurant, we stumbled upon a comical atmosphere. They’ve got really artsy wall prints and decoration which center the tale of the wrestler Red Lizard and his wins. It’s just one of the awesome go-to places to hangout and catch up with friends and family!
This is their Quesadillas, which are handcrafted flour tortillas, stuffed with peppers, onions, and lots of cheese. They come with Chicken, Chorizo, or Cartinas for only Php199.00.
Los Tacos Originales • Crispy corn tacos with their own homemade beef taco filling, iceberg lettuce, queso fundido, and salsa roja, for only Php159.00/order. And it's gluten free!
Taquitos • Crispy rolled tacos with creamy queso, sour cream, shredded lettuce, and jalapeños. They come with Chipotle Chicken or Shredded Pork for only Php169.00/3 pieces and Php299.00/6 pieces. Also gluten free!

They also have margaritas, everyone! Php59.00 only per glass.But I honestly didn't even take a single sip from it because I still actually had hangover. Hehe.
There you have it guys! We really had a sumptuous snack back there and their taquitos and burrito are my favorites! I can't wait to go back for more!
Visti Red Lizard Taqueria @ the Filinvest Bldg, Cebu IT Park, just right beside the new Jollibee. If you plan to come to Red Lizard more often but you're too from Cebu IT Park, don't worry because they will be having branches in Robinson's Galleria and Ayala soon!
They are open from 11:00 AM to 12:00 midnight (Sundays - Thursdays), and 11:00 AM to 1:00 AM (Fridays & Saturdays)
