WEEKLY OUTFIT GRID: YULTIDE FEELSIt's the most wonderful time of the year, once again! Time flies so fast, doesn't it? Have you prepared your Christmas outfits already? Here's what I prepared for this week's outfit grid. Basic outfit with Christmas feels for y'all!

Weekly Outfit Grid is a weekly series featuring an outfit idea of the week composed of different clothing pieces created at Polyvore.com. The idea of this series is based on the #outfitgrid trend on Instagram where outfit pieces are folded and laid on a flat surface and commonly arranged accordingly to form a square. Most #outgitgrid shots are taken on a flat lay view. Kindly do take note that this series is just a guide and/or reference and you don't need to mind the price or brand of the listed outfit elements below since I will be providing cheaper alternatives as much as possible.

WEEKLY OUTFIT GRID: YULTIDE FEELS
YULTIDE FEELS by katherineannika featuring a long red sweater
I bet you already have an idea about the fashion colors this season. Burgundy, maroon, red, green, olive green, white, blue, and anything under that shade. In this outfit grid, I purposely (of course) added two colors of Christmas hence the shades of red and green. I opted for sweaters and not coats or any other thicker clothing because of the Philippine weather. Even if it's the cold season, wearing coats or layered outfits in this country is still an overkill.
For girls, turtle neck sweaters would seem really cute paired with a preferably skater skirt or the kind with a wide opening. If you prefer to wear a skirt instead of a pair jeans, I prefer to have a plain top and a patterned bottom since skirts easily catch attention for girls. If you rather want to be more edgy than classy or chic, then wear a pair of boots. If you prefer the other way around, then wear a pair of stilettos or any of your favorite pair of gorgeous heels. There are a variety of turtle neck sweaters you can buy at Instagram online stores, H&M, and even at mall department stores since it's the sweater season.
For boys, I really do like them to wear patterned sweaters but I couldn't find a decent one in Polyvore so I just chose the one in deep red color. Guys really look cute in these knitted Christmas sweaters. I couldn't find much of these sweaters in malls but I think Pull & Bear and H&M have some. If you prefer to just be basic looking, then have a solid colored sweater just like in the grid above. Then pair it with a simple pair of jeans or denim and you're off to a pretty decent look worth an OOTD.
Christmas is not only for sweaters but also for beanies! So to complete your overall look, have a beanie that matches the color either of your top or bottom. I found beanies available in Terranova and in online Instagram shops.
