Hi ya'll!!
It's your opinionated, #loud and #obnoxious girlfriend. ME! (Trust me, there's a reason for the hashtags!).
You might be asking yourself "where the HECK is Ana Lydia."
Truth be told, I had to take a breather for a few reasons:
A) After I made true to my promise of setting up what my blog was all about, the weight of the responsibility of "being true to me" sank in: My blog had a focus.
Focus!
B) I was traveling - a lot. Honestly? It was MUCH easier when I was younger and single. Three trips in one month and I am spent.
C) Work! The work that pays the bills? Yep - I have responsibilities that I had to follow-up with. (Actually, I still do).
D) I was sick. Yep - again:
Basically, my thyroid is one swollen mess that has been one of the culprits in helping me balloon to a size 18. Discomfort of the weight aside, my brain is mush, my body is swollen and painfully uncomfortable.
Because my brain function is limited when my thyroid is off, the few brain cells and energy I have left I reserve for the most pressing things in life: my home life (meaning my hubby and Maya) and my job. The rest, meaning friends, hobbies, and yes, this blog, well - it falls to the wayside.It's not that I don't love you, my family, or friends...
I do.
I appreciate your blog comments and even emails asking if I am alive and well.
I am.
In that regards, since I am back, expect lots of updates. Mostly related to my annual anniversary vacation with my hubby, some more Las Vegas tips, lots of updates on Princess Maya, a great concert with Pink (Yes, PINK!), skincare, and OH-MY-GAWD, just soooo much stuff!
