When in Bantayan

When in Bantayan Bantayan Island happened to me and Ram on May 9, 2015 at Kota Beach Resort, Sta. Fe. We have been planning to venture out the place as it is one of Cebu's best. With the help of the internet, I found Kota Beach Resort to be the perfect place to spend our 24-hour escape. When in Bantayan Their room rates range from Php900 to Php3800. For more information, please visit their website at http://www.kotabeachresort.com/.When in BantayanWhen in BantayanThe lunch we had was heavenly! I think it's pretty obvious. When in BantayanWhen in BantayanWhen in Bantayan We woke up 5:30am to witness the sun rise. When in BantayanCaptured a flying falcon atop of the waves. When in BantayanWhen in BantayanWhen in BantayanWhen in Bantayan Forgot to take a picture of our dinner so here's our breakfast instead. When in Bantayan Now I'm going to take you to a mini tour around the place. I was right outside our room (which is located at the 3rd row) when I took this photo so here's what you would see on your right side. When in Bantayan Then on the left. When in Bantayan And front. When in BantayanWhen in Bantayan The beachfront rooms. When in Bantayan They have basically a row of rooms which are priced depending on each of their size, airconditioning, and distance from the beach. When in Bantayan That's their cafe on the right. When in Bantayan We were about to head home when this photo was taken. When in Bantayan Here are some of the panoramas I took. When in BantayanClick to enlarge.

If you may have noticed, we didn't take much photos on the first half of our day which was because the atmosphere was gloomy and pale. The weather was acting up. It rained a lil when we were on our way riding the bus. Good thing it didn't actually rain when we arrive until we left Kota. Ram just took some shots of me and there were lots of them since their was only a little bit of sunshine and it gave us a lot of time out at the beach. Speaking of shots of me, you may want to check them out here.
We went swimming of course and it got me bothered because some tiny brown jellyfishes were swimming their thin bodies with us. Yep there were jellyfishes and I guess it was because of the high tide during the time.
What I didn't like about the place is their slow, like internet-connection-in-the-Philippines-slow, food service. It took them 1 hour to serve us our food and it got me a lil mad. But I understood them later on because they don't actually have enough service crew. There were only like 3-4 of them serving 20-50 guests. Also, their mini pond-like sea (it can be seen right away when you arrive at the place) is dirty, especially when it's low tide. But the water itself is clear and clean looking, except if there are lots of people swimming. I like the place, overall.
I made a video of our escapade! I hope you'll enjoy watching it.
